THE PARKS AND REC ADVISORY BOARD THE RESPONSIBILITIES FALL UNDER CITY OF PRINCETON'S MUNICODE WHICH IS 50-37 SUBSECTION D AND IF YOU WERE TO REVIEW THROUGH THOSE I'LL KIND OF GO OVER SOME OF THE HIGHLIGHTS WHAT WE'RE GOING TO DISCUSS.

WE HAVE CITY ATTORNEY HERE AS WELL IF YOU HAVE ANY QUESTIONS WHAT WE'LL ADVISE. ADVISE AND RECOMMEND THE CITY COUNCIL ON MATTERS RELATING TO OPERATIONS OF THE PARKS AND RECREATION DEPARTMENT. REVIEW AND ADVISE THE PARKS AND RECREATION DEPARTMENT ON POLICIES AND PROCEDURES.

WHAT WE'LL DO IS WE WILL PROVIDE UPDATED SOPS AND POLICY PROCEDURES FOR THE BOARD TO REVIEW THROUGH LATER MONTHS AS THIS BOARD CONTINUES. THAT WAY WE CAN TAKE A LOOK AT ANY CHANGES FOR THE FUTURE, ANY CHANGES AS THE CITY OF PRINCETON CONTINUES TO GROW.

WE NEED TO STAY AHEAD AS WELL SO THESE UPDATED SOPS WILL COME ALONG WITH LOOKING AT NEEDS ASSESSMENTS. ALSO WE'LL TALK A LOT AND ONCE WE GET INTO LATER INTO THE PACKET ON THE UPDATE WE HAVE 109 MILLION DOLLAR PARKS BOND SO THERE'LL BE A LOT OF DISCUSSION AND ADVISORY FROM THIS BOARD DIRECT TO HOW WE WANT TO PROCEED AND DESIGNING OF THESE PARKS. REVIEW PLANS AND SPECIFICATIONS ON PROPOSED IMPROVEMENTS IN PARKS AND RECREATION FACILITIES. RECOMMEND CITY COUNCIL, THE CITY COUNCIL THE ESTABLISHMENT OF ORDINANCES REGARDING THE OPERATION OF ALL PARKS AND RECREATION.

I'VE ALSO BEEN A YOUTH BOWLING DIRECTOR AND I'M VERY HEAVILY INVOLVED IN MY ARCADIA FARMS COMMUNITY WITH OUR PARKS AND THE COMMUNITY ITSELF AS THE HOA PRESIDENT. I WOULD ALSO LIKE TO STEP IN AS CHAIRPERSON FOR THIS ROLE WITH MY PREVIOUS YEARS OF PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE GOING ON 20 YEARS NOW WITH WORKING WITH DESIGNING, IMPLEMENTING, OVERSEEING DIFFERENT PROGRAMS AND OPERATIONS WITH YOUTH AND COMMUNITY WITH MY PROFESSIONAL WORK AS WELL.
